Hands down, Whole Foods has one of the best selections when it comes to organic frozen fruits and veggies! Below is a picture of what I stocked up on today…
On top of these favorites we typically buy butternut squash, broccoli, cauliflower, berries, peaches, beets and so much more!
Today I found something new and exciting, organic grain and veggie blends, made by a company out of Austin TX!
The only thing in these blends is exactly what you see in the pic, no added preservatives or spices. This blend was completely organic. It had brown rice, black beans, corn, red pepper, and poblano.
To make it even better… It was a breeze to cook. Just pour it into a pot and cook over medium heat for about 8 min. I added some of my homemade taco seasoning to it tonight, and topped it with grilled shrimp. The whole family loved it.
I will be back to Whole Foods soon to check out this company’s other varieties. They will come in handy for quick dinners now that school is about to start (tear), but for now I’m just going to enjoy these last few days of summer with Mr. Fenn!
